G.W.R. Wagon Kits

This range covers the most common small wagons in use from 1900 until the end of steam. Brass 3 link couplings and steel ballast weights are included. Wheels, paints and transfers are required to complete. Prices listed don't include postage.

3011 GWR Dia. O4 Open A 5 Plank Wagon
Fitted with Williams patent sheet rail, these standard (diagram 04) wagons were once one of the most common on the system.

3012 GWR Dia. O2 Open 7 Plank Wagon
Similar to the 5-Plank wagon but used for lighter bulkier loads.

3013 GWR Dia. O5 Open 4 Plank Wagon
A standard 4-Plank design of which more than 18,000 were built, and which would have been a very common sight everywhere on the system.

3014 GWR Dia. N13 Iron Loco Coal Wagon
An iron bodied wagon of riveted construction (diagram N13) used to move coal from collieries to the loco depots. Again commonly found all over the system.

3015 GWR Re-built 3 Plank Open Wagon
Mainly used for container traffic these low sided 3-Plank wagons were not common user, having to be sent back to the GWR when empty.

Often used as spacers under crane jibs or long overhanging loads, these wagons were also used for carrying machinery or other items that could be roped down.
